Aside from being a phenomenal teacher, mother, and friend, Kathy Larson is the CEO and founder of Summit Academy. She plans and executes Summit Academy's activities with the help of Shelton Walt Education and her carefully chosen American team members.

Krystian has worked as the lead graphic designer for Summit Academy since 2014.

Krystian is currently attending college and working in the mission field.

Scott is also a new addition to Summit.  With Krystian and other of our behind the scenes workers off at college and the mission field there was a huge gap to fill. Summit could not have continued without someone to fill this very large hole. Scott has been that person taking over the work of Krystian and others to design website and content for it, flyers, letters, and new educational media for the children. Scott comes to us gifted as well as experienced with teaching methods and concepts. Summit is blessed! 

Charles has been the CFO for Summit for several years now. He is presently preparing to go to school but still finds time to aid and advise Summit in many diverse ways.

Samuel Wang is a dynamic leader in private English Education in southern China. Samuel's and Kathy's shared vision for cultural education and exchange in America is one of the reasons Summit Academy was founded and continues to thrive. ​​​​

Tommy Larson is Kathy Larson's husband. Most of the time, he is planning and leading most of Summit Academy's field trips. If you've seen Tommy twice, you've seen him with camera equipment at least once. He is a talented and passionate videographer and documents student activities during field trips for each graduation ceremony!

Katherine has been a part of Summit Academy for 7 years attendingthe program. Now that she is in her last year of middle school, she was invited to become a Jr Camp Counselor as well as an intern to the Audio Visual department. Katherine loves learning about other cultures. She is also a nature lover and enjoys engaging stude ts in activities that wll improve their english. Shes been great addition to the summit team

Phillip Chen has worked in Shelton Walt Education for ten years and is the director of the international department. He is the leader of the overseas traveling program and has been to the US five times as a supervisor of students.

Alex has been with Summit for many years, first as a student, then Jr Counselor, then counselor, and now he is proficient in all aspects. He is indispensable in every department. His primary duty is with field trips where he is the activities Director.

Ezekiel, who goes by Kiawe, started with Summit as a Jr Camp Counselor and is a full camp counselor this year. He is great at engaging students in activites to improve their English and loves to share his culture with them as well as being open to learn theirs. His spiritual influence on the students has been great and they look up to him for direction. We are looking forward to many more years with Ezekiel in our program.
